Rolling Stones Jan 12, 2008
By W. T. Corbett The collection came in a poorly constructed cardboard box that did not adquately support the specimens or maitain its shape. One specimen had torn free in shipping and I reglued it and glued the paper backing for the whole collection to the box to help secure it before giving it to my grandson. The shipping charges of $10.84 was excessive.

rocks and minerals collection Jan 02, 2008
By Raymond L. Crawford The product picture is very misleading. It shows several boxes and refers to it as a collection. What I received was a single small box of specimens. I have responded to the company via E-mail and have received no response. The lack of response to my letter is very unprofessional and I will never order from them again. Additionally, it discourages me from ordering online due to possible misrepresentation of the product.

Don't judge a book by its cover Jun 24, 2009
By kssmit This picture shows a large selection of different boxes with many specimens. If I knew I was only getting one box with a few specimens I would have bought a cheaper set. What I got is good, but not what I was expecting.
Rock Collection Dec 01, 2010
By J. Abney Very concise and simple rock collection. One collection had rocks GLUED the display surface and a different rock collection had numbered rocks which could be removed from the box for closer inspection. I preferred the latter, both of which came from this company.
Misleading Picture, Not Worth the Money Sep 11, 2010
By LeeHoFooks I suppose I share some of the blame for my disappointment in this product. I should have read the reviews - or at least paid attention to the product description. (The photo obviously portrays more than 35 specimens.) However, the picture of the numerous large boxes of rocks and minerals is very misleading. What you actually get is a small, flimsy box of small mineral samples. It's not a bad product overall, but it's not worth the cost. (And I don't think it's something my 8 year old brother is going to get much enjoyment from, despite his interest in geology.)
Edit: They've since changed the picture. The current photograph more accurately depicts the product.
