The rocks are a good size. Each one is labeled well so that you can tell what each one is on the chart. The page that is included has some information about the rocks and some questions for students to answer. We used it for some homeschooling lessons along with a book. My daughter enjoyed looking at the different types of rocks that are included. Some other homeschool families that we know want to borrow it too.
