Pennsylvania Caves Jan 15, 2009
By Speleologist Having the knowledge and background of many caves listed, I found this book to be very good. It does show some bias as the author may have favorites. Most of the information is accurate and correct, but there are some information printed that is not correct and in most cases minor. Perhaps a better background research on some of the caves and contacting others with that knowledge could have made the book even better.
For the most part, this book is well worth buying and reading. Much of the historic information will soon be lost if it were not for this book. Those who enjoy caves and other wonders will find this book enjoyable.

Great book for PA Buffs!!!! Dec 18, 2010
By Sokol2044 This book is great for anyone who is interested in the Geological and Geographical history and present of Pennsylvania. It goes through every current and former commercial cave, some that aren't quite known by a lot of people. I was glad that this book was a required reading to my geography class... A+
