Bausch & Lomb Magnifier Hastings Triplet, 20X Mag

Highly-corrected magnifiers. Bausch & Lomb's finest. A triplet is three separate lenses bonded together to form a compound lens, provide sharp, very distinct images. No color distortion even under 20X power. A swing-away, nickel-plated case protects lens and serves as a handle. Focus: 1/2 inch; Power 20X. This magnifier has EXTREME MAGNIFICATION and a very small size. This magnification is too much except for critical extremely fine features such as knife and razor blade edges, phonographic needles, pen tips and similar very small features. NOT FOR GENERAL MAGNIFICATION. The loupe is held right at the eye and then the object is brought to near contact with the front of the loupe or the eye and the loupe are brought extremely close to the object being viewed.
